From Points South
Follow the directions for Route 93 north to Boston and take Exit #20 (Mass Pike/Boston). Follow the directions for “Downtown Boston.” At the first traffic light, turn left onto Kneeland Street.
At the fifth traffic light, turn right onto Charles Street. At the third traffic light, turn right onto Beacon Street. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Park Street. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Tremont Street. At the fourth traffic light, turn left onto Avery Street. The Ritz-Carlton Boston Common is on your right.

From Points North
Follow the directions for Route 93 or Route1 South (the two will merge in Boston). Take Exit 24 (Callahan Tunnel/Logan Airport). At the end of the ramp, turn right onto North Street. Proceed to Congress Street (first traffic light) and turn left. Proceed to State/Court Street (first traffic light). Turn right onto State/Court Street and proceed, merging to the left onto Tremont Street. Proceed on Tremont Street to Avery Street (sixth traffic light). Turn left. The Ritz-Carlton Boston Common is on your right.

From Logan Airport
Follow the directions for Boston via Sumner Tunnel (toll tunnel).
Upon exiting tunnel, bear right. Immediately after the first traffic light, take the second left and a sharp left onto Blackstone Street. At the end of Blackstone, turn right onto North Street. Proceed to the end of North Street. Turn left onto Congress Street, Proceed to State/Court Street (first traffic light). Turn right. Proceed to the top of State/Court Street, bearing left onto Tremont Street. Follow Tremont Street to Avery Street (sixth traffic light). Turn left onto Avery Street. The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common is on your right.

From Points West (Mass Pike – Route 90)
Take Exit #22 (Coopley Square/Prudential Center). Stay to the right for the Copley Square ramp. Off the ramp proceed to Charles Street (fifth traffic light) Turn left. Follow Charles Street to Beacon Street (third traffic light). Turn right. Follow Beacon Street to Park Street (second traffic light). Turn right. Follow to Tremont Street. Turn right. Follow Tremont Street to Avery Street (fourth traffic light). Turn left. The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common is on your right.

From Storrow Drive
Take the exit marked Back Bay/Copley Square (westbound) or Downtown (eastbound). At the traffic light, turn left onto Beacon Street and immediately right onto Arlington Street. Proceed to Boylston Street (second traffic light). Turn left and stay to the left. At Charles Street (second traffic light), turn left and proceed to Beacon Street (second traffic light). Turn right. Follow Beacon Street to Park Street (second traffic light). Turn right. Follow to Tremont Street. Turn right. Follow Tremont Street to Avery Street (fourth traffic light). Turn left.
