AMERICAN WAKE is Brian Delate’s second collaboration with Maureen Foley, having earned critical praise for his starring role in her 1998 feature, “Home Before Dark.” Delate’s long acting career includes such screen credits as “The Truman Show,” “The Shawshank Redemption,” “Spiderman,” “Ash Wednesday,” “Buffalo Soldiers” and “Far From Heaven.” His extensive television work includes numerous guest appearances on the “Law & Order” shows, “Sex and The City,” and “NY Undercover,” among others; recurring roles on every soap operas taped in New York; comedy skits on Conan O’Brien; and the PBS teleplay, “Trifles.” He has been seen on the New York stage in numerous productions of Joseph Papp’s Public Theatre and is an active member of the Actor's Studio. As a teacher, he has guest lectured and taught at acting schools and colleges around the country. Delate is a decorated Vietnam Veteran and was featured in the book “Everything We Had.”
